2009
🎵 Mac's Uptowner, Charleston, IL
Began working as Talent Buyer and Front of House Audio Engineer, booking regional and national touring artists while managing live sound, event promotion, and venue operations.

🎪 The Beginning of Shoe Fest, Manteno, IL
After booking Old Shoe at Mac's Uptowner, conversations about creating a new music festival led to introductions with experienced festival organizers, helping bring together the team that would launch Shoe Fest Music Festival.

🎪 Shoe Fest Music Festival
Joined the inaugural Shoe Fest as Volunteer Staff Coordinator and member of the festival's core operations team.

2012
🎸 A Creative Partnership Begins, Illinois
Booked Another Dead Cover Band (ADCB), a Grateful Dead tribute band fronted and managed by Steph. A professional relationship quickly became a long-term creative partnership built on a shared passion for live events and community.

2013–2016
🌽 Festival Leadership, Midwest
Served simultaneously as Volunteer Staff Coordinator for both Shoe Fest Music Festival and Down on the Farm Music Festival.

🎫 Rage Fest, Waterloo, IL
Produced an independent music festival from concept to completion.

⭐ Phases of the Moon Music Festival, Terre Haute, IN
Supported VIP Operations during the inaugural festival while working alongside a large-scale event production team.

🌲 A New Chapter; Oregon-Bound.
Relocated to Oregon after recruiting, training, and transitioning successor leadership for both Shoe Fest and Down on the Farm Music Festival.

Event Operations & Consultation
Laura brings more than a decade of experience in festival operations, venue management, volunteer leadership, artist services, event production, and community engagement. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in Queer Studies and a micro credential in Serving LGBTQ Communities. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Oregon University.

Technical Production, Performance & Design
Steph brings extensive experience as a professional musician, bandleader, sound engineer, lighting technician, graphic designer, and event production specialist. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Oregon State University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and has earned three associate degrees.
